Deluxe En-suite Double Room in Sydenham

Struttura onesta e servizio adeguato al prezzo, in un luogo non centrale ma ben collegato Positive: La struttura è a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Sydenham, e questo è un indubbio vantaggio, con il treno si raggiunge rapidamente la stazione di London Bridge (ho letto anche quella di anada Water), nodi di scambio cruciali per metropolitana e numerosi treni nazionali. Nei quattro giorni della mia permanenza ogni interazione con i gestori della struttura è avvenuto tramite messaggi e mail, ma non mi sono mai sentito "abbandonato" dai gestori, tutto ha funzionato bene, dalla comunicazione dei codici di accesso alla struttura ed alla camera e la risoluzione di un inconveniente alla TV, gestito con rapidità ed efficacia. La camera è spaziosa e pulita, senza aria condizionata ma all'occorrenza dotata di un piccolo ventilatore. Il bagno è adeguato e la doccia spaziosa, naturalmente manca il bidet. Nei pressi diversi ottimi posti per mangiare, ma anche supermercato e servizi vari. Negative: L'ingresso esterno è anonimo ed un po' sottotono, ma all'interno la struttura è moderna e sufficientemente curata. La manopola del portoncino di ingresso incorpora il tastierino per digitare i codici, ma i caratteri sono piccoli, consumati e con il buio si fa fatica ad inserire i codici giusti, andrebbe sostituita. La camera a me assegnata si affaccia proprio sui binari, con il rumore che ne consegue. Nel kit di benvenuto sono forniti dei tappi per le orecchie, ma è preferibile dotarsene di propri.

Too hot to bear. Positive: The location is well communicated with the rest of town and the local center. Enough to warrant "good location". Good assortment of shops/cafes/pubs nearby. Close to the nearest. Negative: The rooms have absolutely ZERO ventilation, not mentioning even anything akin to Air Conditioning. With the current climate situation in London the stay was absolutely unbearable with the room temperature hitting well over degrees celsius and no possibility of making the air move. We had to open the Windows to try cooling off the place at night, but the building is to hot too cool, and the high-speed train outside is making it impossible to sleep. (at least before 1AM and after 5AM.

Positive: Pulita comoda ai mezzi pubblici

A very pleasant stay. Positive: Good location for our visit. Clean room. Negative: There were no mugs or teabags. When I requested them, the response was quick, though when I came to make a cup of tea in the evening I noticed there were no teaspoons. There was some jam in individual packs, not sure what they were doing there as there were no facilities to use them!

Positive: Facility very clean and at a location that is accessible to basic amenities
